11/6: A determined Timpview team overwhelmed the Spanish Fork Dons 57-22 to advance to the Class 4A football semifinals. Before the game, Timpview coach Louis Wong told his team a story about a runner who never slowed down during a race.
11/6: West Valley City » Forty-eight minutes of regulation was not enough. Neither were three overtimes. On Friday night at Ed Mayne Stadium, it took the Hunter Wolverines four overtimes to dispatch the visiting Lone Peak Knights in a 45-37 instant classic.
11/6: Tana Vea only had only one thing on his mind as he jogged back to the Juan Diego sideline after his second touchdown in the Soaring Eagle's 28-3 second-round playoff win over Cedar City.
